Coldplay releases live album as free download

Offers new live “LeftRightLeftRightLeft” as a “recession-busting mark of gratitude” to their fans. British rock group Coldplay says it will give away free copies of a new live CD at most of its remaining live shows in 2009. The disc, entitled “LeftRightLeftRightLeft,” will be distributed free to attendees at all the band’s shows, except festival venues, starting with its first North American tour date at West Palm Beach, Fla., beginning today.
