Google’s ‘accidental’ plundering of  unsecured WiFi networks is a ticking time bomb When will it explode? The clock has advanced a little more with the news that while the online advertising megalith tells the US Congress using Street View to scarf up data  isn’t illegal under US law, “its own view, expressed in its privacy policy, is quite different”, says TechEye . Rather, says the story, the privacy policy for it own network in Mountain View, California, reads: “Wireless internet access presents challenges for protecting your information from illegal data interception by third parties”.
