Today’s star is Machsend : a see browser-based file sharing service that takes the somewhat popular idea of mixing browser technology with p2p and uses it in its more unique way – employing Ruby and Yahoo's Browserplus extension. This extension (i.e. a plug-in) offers web apps file access and further desktop-like capabilities.
