Online anti-paedophile ‘panic button’

A UK organisation dedicated to “eradicating the sexual abuse of children” has introduced an anti-paedophile panic button. The ‘CEOP Report’ button has been added across the Bebo website to “enhance its existing ‘Report Abuse’ functionality,” says the Child Exploitation and Online Protection site . “By clicking on the CEOP Report button — which will appear on every profile as an automatic setting — young people, parents and carers will be able to access to the latest advice and help around issues such as viruses and hacking,” it says.
