SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA—Samsung rested its case shortly after today’s lunch break, as Apple v. Samsung pushed into its final hours. Buy lawyers representing the Korean electronics giant clearly felt like they had more of a case to make. One of them asked US District Judge Lucy Koh to file a list of the witnesses it would have put on the stand, if it weren’t for the time limitations. But she denied even that request. “Samsung made a strategic decision to spend more time cross-examining Apple’s witnesses during Apple’s affirmative case than Apple used,” she said.
