Sony music exec "shocked" by Thomas-Rasset verdict

The lawyer who appeared at the Jammie Thomas-Rasset trial as a witness for Sony now says that he was “shocked” by the size of the $1.92 verdict . Gary Wade Leak spoke at an alumni event at Columbia this weekend, where he told the audience, “We were shocked. I suspected we were going to win, but I really thought they would come in with a lower number.”
