Yesterday when my when my wife and I were driving home after collecting our daughter from a friend’s house, we tuned in to a local CBC radio station, All Points West, getting a breathless, and lengthy, rhapsody on the wonders of Google Sreet View from an estate agent. It was hard-core — superlative on top of superlative, example after example, almost as though he’d been rigorously coached by Google. Which of course, he hadn’t.

Since my last update my wife, Liz, and daughter, Emma, and I have been talking a lot about what we can do and what we can’t do, and what it’ll mean to us as a family, to keep p2pnet online. Filesharers belong to a P2P community and p2pnet.net serves as a part of that. It’s a voice among the growing swell of other voices promoting honesty, respect, openness and freedom online, and that’s the way we want things to continue.
