Tiananmen Square massacre, 10 years on

It’s June 5, today. On the same date 10 years ago, a lone Chinese man — the Unknown Rebel – stood alone, barring the advance of tanks as they paraded in Tiananmen Square. The Tiananmen Square protests, as they came to be known, also meant the deaths of, at the very least, 300 people.

WestJet cheep adverts

While some airlines are finding it harder and harder to stay in the air because of the economic squeeze, Canada’s WestJet has found a cheep way to economically reach the people. As p2pnet points out , online, static ads don’t make it. People blank them out figuratively and literally, which means advertisers have to talk to the people, not at them.
