TorrentFreak: storm in a teacup
Over the last couple of hours I’ve had quite a few Reader’s Writes (all on hold), and several emails, on Dutch BT news site TorrentFreak. They seem to centre on the departure of of its owner, best-known as Ernesto, from his previous job, and his friendship with one of the (former?) owners of The Pirate Bay. 1 – “There is a scandal on xx Ernesto xx OF TorrentFreak and Jon Newton of p2PNet is censoring any mention of it,” says one of the comments, adding, “P2Pnet is supposed to be about Free Speach.” 2 – “This has to do with an article about BREIN and a reporter of a Dutch news radio station broadcasting a rant about Torrentfreak,” says another.
