US Chamber of Commerce sore about Apple’s sudden departure
Earlier this week, Apple sent a letter to the US Chamber of Commerce, letting the organization know in no uncertain terms that the group’s stance on greenhouse gas emissions regulation was not in line with Apple’s own. The group’s criticism of proposed legislation and the EPA’s proposal to regulate based on power granted by the Clean Air Act moved Apple to sever its ties and resign from the group . Now, Chamber president Thomas Donohue is attempting to chastise Apple for its action, but given the Chamber’s stance on climate change, it sounds like little more than sour grapes.
